Measurements on the CaFamosa 80

The service port is either hidden under a small lid, which can be opened for example with a screwdriver, or accessible by removing the whole top cover plate of the machine (2 screws plus some plastic hooks).

Then, a plastic 5-pin connector can be taken out of its mounting, and one can see that only four of the sockets are connected to colored wired, as the diagram tries to show:

  +-------------------------------+ ylo = yellow
  | ylo ./. ora red brn | ora = orange
  | ( ) ( ) ( ) ( ) ( ) | red = red
  | | brn = brown
  +------#-----------------#------+ ./. = not connected
         " "
         ^-----------------^----------- "noses" for orientation

Assumptions about the pin usage:

  ylo +5V wired to Vcc
ora RxD wired to an input pin
red GND reference for all other voltages measured
brn TxD when there is a Rx, there must be a Tx
